Studio Profile on Archetypes.com
Here’s a sweet portrait of our studio published today on Archetypes.com. They did a nice job highlighting process – although they make it sound like a one-woman operation, which it hardly is! Thank you Meredith Heuer Photography for the beautiful photos.

What we referred to in our Facebook photo album as “The Swiss Cheese Project” was actually display counters for the Soho showroom of French clothing company Pas de Calais. Here they are featured in the Style section of The New York Times. They open to the public tomorrow at 482 Broome Street in NYC. Can’t wait to see our oak counters all dressed up!

Our nesting stools were prominently featured on Designer Pages following our participation in Reclaim NYC fundraiser after Hurricane Sandy.
Reclaim NYC
Wickham Solid Wood Studio is contributing a piece to Reclaim NYC for their fundraiser/auction. New York’s design community is teaming up to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Sandy with an auction of furniture created from materials reclaimed or salvaged after the storm and of pieces inspired by the flooding. December 19, 2012, from 7-9 p.m. at Ligne Roset’s SoHo showroom at 155 Wooster Street.
ZONA Holiday Pop-up in Tribeca
One of our proudest moments yet: Wickham Solid Wood Studio will be participating in the relaunch of ZONA! This extraordinary retail store blossomed in SoHo in NYC in the ’80s and ’90s and they are re-inventing themselves with a “pop-up” store in Tribeca for the 2012 holidays. We will have gifts of all shapes and sizes on display. Come visit!
